Oh the excuses.... Where do I start?

- "Why are you in my skin? You need to come out now." (Noticing the pimple/blackheads/whiteheads)
- it'S an ingrown hair. It'll be better out.
- I can stop at any time.
- You're doing it too!
- just one more zit and I will be okay.
- this product isn't working/stopped working. O get faster results removing it myself.
- happy/satisfied that the crap is out.
- I have a moment for myself.

Its like a self-cleansing mode I go into.

After experiencing stress or exhaustion, I check out and graze/scan my body with my fingers.

It seems like out of some unawareness. - Like a past time.

If I see or feel one, I think I'm helping myself by fixing myself. If I just get this one, it'll heal faster, it won't be so visible, it won't look so bad.

No one will know if I pick this - they wont be able to tell (though I really think its super obvious, and the more I try to cover up, the more visible it really is).

Its easy. This one will go away easily and won't matter.

Yeah, this ONE won't matter.

I see the imperfection or clogged pore and want it gone - it'll be fun to see it go. And Ill feel better, more accomplished, pure, clean, useful and in control.

I think Im doing myself a favor.

Its too much effort to not do it, and I don't know what else to do (in the boredom cases)

It helps me relax and think. (or not think)

I think Ill look better, and people will like me more.

Ill look like a model, and finally look flawless and beautiful.

Somewhere inside, Im asking whats wrong with me? So I see something clearly and obviously "wrong" with me, so its the one thing I can make "not wrong" by "fixing" it.

I've actually blamed my skin .... if you would just stop breaking out I wouldn't have to pick at you!
